The two-tone SeaQ, dedicated to both men's and women's wrists, follows in the footsteps of Glashütte Original's very first dive watch, the Spezimatic Type RP TS 200 of 1969, whose original look it echoes. The elegant combination of the steel case with the yellow gold rotating bezel and blue ceramic insert, which ensures remarkable scratch resistance, is impressive. As are the gold hands and numerals that create a pleasing contrast to the dark blue of the dial. The latter are coated with SuperLuminova for optimal readability in all lighting conditions. Equipped with a black or blue synthetic rubber strap with a pin buckle or folding clasp, the SeaQ is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement, calibre 39-11, and is guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 20 bar (20 atmospheres). It has also passed the rigorous tests necessary to obtain DIN 8306 and ISO 6425 certification for professional diving watches and thus complies with both German and international quality standards. On sale for 12,000 euros.
