Frederique Constant's Highlife Perpetual Calendar Manufacture with its new blue-grey dial: at first glance, does it win or lose? Thanks to the contrast with the white lettering and the mirror-polished, luminescent hour markers and hands, this new colouring ensures optimal legibility of the time, as well as immediate readability of the perpetual calendar indications: day at 9 o'clock, months and leap year at 12 o'clock, date at 3 o'clock, finishing with the moon phase at 6 o'clock. A calendar that does not need correction until 2100, in the best watchmaking tradition, but with a contemporary design and, above all, a price never seen before for this type. Discreet retractable push-buttons positioned on the case middle allow, together with the crown, to adjust the displays. The centre of the dial features the guilloché Earth motif, the aesthetic signature of the Highlife collection. The 41 mm diameter steel case is designed with an integrated three-link bracelet, which alternates polished and satin-finished surfaces with a result close to high-end products and which, equipped with the special coupling and release mechanism typical of this line, makes it easy to alternate with the textured and stitched navy blue rubber strap supplied with the watch. At its heart, visible through the case back, is an in-house self-winding mechanical movement, calibre FC-775, decorated with perlage and côtes de Genève and with a 38-hour power reserve.
