On 19 June, during the 60th Taormina Film Festival in Taormina, Baume & Mercier organised a gala dinner at the Hotel Metropole to present the new Promesse watch collection. On this occasion, the 'Mister Clifton Taormina Award' and the 'Promesse Taormina Award' were presented. The director of Baume & Mercier Italia, Beppe Ambrosini, had the pleasure of honouring four highly successful stars on the stage of the Teatro Antico: Hollywood star Matt Dillon and Italian actor Flavio Parenti received watches from the Clifton collection; actress Melanie Griffith and our own Paola Cortellesi received watches from the brand new Promesse collection.
