In the run-up to Baselworld 2015, we are presenting a few previews such as the new Blancpain from the Villeret collection, which for the first time features a model with a date display in a double window (at 6 o'clock on the opaline dial). The latter also features applied Roman numeral hour markers and skeleton gold leaf hands. The movement used is the new automatic calibre 6950, equipped with a variable-inertia balance with silicon balance spring and gold adjustment screws. It is visible through the porthole on the back of the 40-millimetre red gold case. The strap is brown crocodile leather.
