Breitling launches a new capsule collection

The latest women's creation for this season launched by Breitling is a fresh reinterpretation of a model that originated in the 1950s as a diver's watch and has evolved into a fashionable timepiece dedicated to women. We are talking about the new Superocean Heritage '57 Pastel Paradise capsule collection, which focuses on colours and proportions as well as substance. The 38 mm steel case adopts a unidirectional rotating bezel with clearly legible hour markers. "This modern-retro tribute to the original SuperOcean is an interesting addition to the Breitling ladies' watch range. Naturally extraordinary to wear at work, it also invites one to spend a weekend on the beach in one's free time," said Breitling CEO Georges Kern, pointing out that the coveted original model was a reminder of the growing popularity of beach fun in the 1950s and 1960s. The same relaxed atmosphere of the era is reflected in the luminous dials of the modern Pastel Paradise collection, an invitation to enjoy the moment. The palette of this capsule collection for women comes in the colours white, aquamarine, mint green and café au lait: each model adopts a dial (protected by anti-reflective sapphire glass), a bezel with ceramic inlay and a tone-on-tone strap. However, the starring role is played by the tangerine-coloured rainbow version. With indexes and hour hands coated with Super-LumiNova, this version takes on shades of yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple, red and orange. If a personalised colour combination is desired, it is possible At the heart of each watch beats a Breitling calibre 10, mechanical, self-winding, Cosc-certified and with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. Water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres, the new Superocean Heritage '57 Pastel Paradise watches are fitted with a Saffiano leather strap matching the colour of the dial, with a folding clasp and a quick-change system. Finally, it should be noted that the Superocean Heritage '57 Pastel Paradise capsule collection will only be produced for a limited period this summer.
