A new collaboration for Bulgari, which joins forces with Ducati to create a special edition of the Aluminium Chronograph. What catches the eye is the unprecedented deep red of the dial, the iconic colour of the motorbike manufacturer's historic Bolognese factories, which is also echoed on the hands of the black counters at 3 (continuous seconds), 6 (chrono hours) and 9 (chrono minutes). In addition to the numbers 10, 11 and 12, which recall the graphics on the dashboards of Ducati motorbikes. The hour indications on the dial are then enhanced by the presence of the date display, placed between 4 and 5 o'clock.
The watch is equipped with the BVL 130 automatic calibre (28,800 vibrations per hour, with a degree of precision down to one-tenth of a second, and 42-hour power reserve), which has been housed in the Bulgari Aluminium since 2020.
What also characterises the Bulgari Aluminium Chronograph Ducati Edizione Speciale is the mix of materials used: from the aluminium of the case, 40 mm in diameter, to the rubber of the bezel and strap, to the titanium of the crown and pushers. Also made of aluminium and rubber is the dedicated case that houses it, completed with the Ducati and Bulgari logos. Available in a limited edition of 1,000, it is guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres. Its retail price is 5,000 euros.
