On 8 August, the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Porto Cervo was the venue for the 65th birthday celebration of Fawaz Gruosi, founder and creative director of the De Grisogono Maison. Surrounded by his friends, who have flocked to celebrate his birthday every summer for the past 20 years, Fawaz Gruosi made his guests glow with joy and good cheer. The splendid scenery of one of the most beautiful bays of the Costa Smeralda provided the setting for this event. The birthday party sparkled under the magical glow of thousands of suspended lights and the glow of fireworks. Nature provided the backdrop, with its colours ranging from turquoise to sapphires and emeralds, nuances not surprisingly favoured by Fawaz Gruosi in creating the jewellery of the Maison De Grisogono. The 500 guests also made the dance floor vibrate to the rhythm of a Gloria Gaynor concert, followed by an after-party that lasted until dawn.
