Corum Lady Golden Bridge Round 39 mm

image001Over the past 35 years, the exclusive Golden Bridge movement has been offered in many exceptional variations, shapes and materials. The flagship of the Corum collection, this timepiece is certainly innovative and unique, especially thanks to its perfectly visible in-line movement. The unusual Golden Bridge calibre is housed in a sapphire crystal that allows the watchmaker's skill to be fully appreciated from every angle. At the beginning of 2016, Corum reinterpreted the design of the Golden Bridge by introducing a version with a round case, the Golden Bridge Round, with a hand-wound CO113 movement, mounted in an in-line, baguette shape, and a 43 mm case in red gold created by renowned designer Dino Modolo. Now Corum is back with a new Round model for women, whose unconventional design creates an incredible interplay of geometries by combining circular and rectangular shapes. In keeping with the stylistic codes of Art Deco, the Golden Bridge Round highlights the electric harmony between form, materials and functionality. The round case and the horizontally aligned movement with splendid finishing and engravings complement each other perfectly, while the additional decoration in precious resin and diamonds surrounding the calibre that is visible in its entirety lends colour, sparkle and shine. The vivid natural resin elements of the Golden Bridge Round variants are enclosed in a finely textured gold 'cage' with diamonds and handmade decorations. The diamonds are expertly set by a Swiss craftsman. "The Golden Bridge is the crowning glory of Corum's collections, an illustration of the finest Swiss watchmaking," explains Davide Traxler, CEO of Corum. "Its innovative aesthetics and unique structure of the movement are timeless. We decided to be daring with the architecture of the movement and the timepiece itself."
