The opening of the Trucchi jewellery store in Rome

On 30 May, the Trucchi jewellery shop in Via Veneto, Rome, was inaugurated. It is the dealer for the most prestigious watch and jewellery brands. The shop presents an initial dedicated area, with a 'gallery' in which frames enclose real paintings of precious stones and refined dials. In the innermost and more intimate area, with a play of soft lighting contrasting with the bright lights in the shop windows, the intention was to create a theatrical setting that would enhance the objects on display. As a final important detail, the lighting makes use of the latest LED technology, succeeding in enhancing the colours of the stones and protecting the elements of the refined watchmaking mechanics from heat overexposure.

Trucchi, a brand founded in Naples in 1907, was acquired in 2010 by the Restivo family, a leading name in Sicilian haute horlogerie and jewellery. Giovanni Restivo is at the helm of the company today, together with his children Francesco and Beatrice, and in the name of continuity and a century-old tradition (Restivo was founded in 1922) he accepted the challenge by also opening in Capri, an international tourist destination, in 2011. Two more sales outlets will soon open in Naples in Via S. Caterina a Chiaia.
