Called Open Heart, the new Locman Montecristo watch is ready to catch the eye thanks to its transparent dial which, together with the porthole in the case back, offers a view of its beating heart: the self-winding mechanical movement, Sellita SW500 calibre, with a 48-hour power reserve and tungsten oscillating weight, personalised by Locman and mounted on a ball bearing with steel balls that allow the rotor to oscillate more smoothly. The 44 mm case in AISI 316L surgical steel alternates polished and satin-finished elements and attaches to the hypoallergenic silicone or natural leather strap via the three-bar lugs incorporated into the caseband. Montecristo Open Heart, water-resistant to 10 atmospheres, is also offered with a case coated in PVD Total Black or PVD Total Blue, in a limited edition of 350 numbered pieces, as a tribute to the brand's 35th anniversary. The brand also offers the possibility of personalising the watch by choosing your favourite combination of the colours of the case, hands, dial and also, of course, the strap. The customisation service will be available at all jewellers, mono-brand boutiques and at www.locman.it. The price of the new Montecristo varies depending on the version: €2,280 for the Montecristo Open Heart Limited Edition, steel and titanium case with Total Black/Total Blue PVD treatment, silicon strap; €1,998 for the Montecristo Open Heart, steel and titanium case, silicon strap; €2,068 for the Montecristo Open Heart, steel and titanium case, leather strap.
