Locman presents Island, a versatile, high-performance watch, suitable for both sporty and metropolitan use. The dial is surmounted by a flat crystal on which the minute track graphics are screen-printed. Equipped with a lenticular window positioned over the date window to make it easier to read, the crystal is made scratch-resistant by a sapphire treatment that gives it a hardness comparable to that of natural sapphire and increases its degree of transparency. The steel case is guaranteed water-resistant to 5 atmospheres. Particular attention has also been paid to the colouring of the case, which, thanks to an innovative PVD treatment with antioxidant properties, is also available in deep blue, total black or chocolate, with straps in pure ultra-soft silicone or natural leather, in matching colours. The satin-finished titanium case back, secured to the case by four screws, bears an acid etching depicting the island of Elba where the company is based.
