Omega Official Timekeeper of the Diamond League in Rome

Tonight at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome is the Pietro Mennea Golden Gala, a stage of the IAAF Diamond League, which once again sees Omega as Official Timekeeper of the event. The brand is following the competition around the world and timing the top athletes in 11 different countries. Omega has served as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games for 28 editions and has been Official Timekeeper of the IAAF Diamond League since the event was founded in 2010. In addition to timekeeping and data management for the world's most prestigious sporting events, the brand is responsible for the development of some of the most important sports timekeeping equipment, including the modern starter's gun, starting blocks, false start detection system, as well as the latest version of the photofinish camera, the Scan'O'Vision Myria, capable of recording more than 10,000 digital images per second.
