In anticipation of the release of the new James Bond film, Spectre, Daniel Craig paid a visit to Omega's manufacture in Villeret. Together with Nick Hayek, CEO of Swatch Group, and Stephen Urquhart, President of Omega, Craig was able to admire the production of the new Seamaster 300 "Spectre" Limited Edition, which the actor wears in the film. "The thing that impressed me the most is the fact that the watches are created from scratch. From nothing comes a working watch, that's the real beauty. What fascinated me the most was seeing the technology and history behind this production cycle live," he said,
To celebrate the new film, fans and collectors will be able to buy the model worn by 007 in Spectre: the Seamaster 300 will be on sale in a limited edition. This is a first for this partnership: until now, only commemorative editions have been used to pay tribute to the brand's link with the secret agent.
The watch is being produced in a limited series of 7,007 pieces and is available from September in Omega boutiques at a price of €6,400.
