From 31 October watch and space enthusiasts will be able to see Omega timepieces in "First Man". Following the great success of "La La Land", Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling, director and actor respectively, have reunited to tell the behind-the-scenes story of the first manned mission to the moon in the decade leading up to the historic Apollo 11 flight. A real and intimate account told from the point of view of its protagonist, Neil Armstrong, based on the book written by James R. Hansen. More specifically, the film explores the triumphs and sacrifices of the famous astronaut, his family, his colleagues and an entire nation on one of the most dangerous missions in history. In 1969, during the Apollo 11 mission, the Omega Speedmaster became the first watch worn on the moon. For the production of "First Man", the company supplied the Speedmasters of the time along with several watches from that period.
