Patek Philippe presents three new
pluricomplicated models

cronografo à rattrapante e calendario perpetuo, Ref. 5204R-011
Split-seconds chronograph and perpetual calendar, Ref. 5204R-011.

The Swiss watchmaker is enriching its collection of chronographs by launching three new versions of the references 5204, 5905 and 5930 that illustrate all of Patek Philippe's know-how and expertise in the field of complications, first and foremost the measurement of short times. After all, within the range of Patek Philippe complicated watches, the chronograph has always played a major role. In particular, the split-seconds chronograph and perpetual calendar Ref. 5204 is the heir to one of Patek Philippe's most sought-after Grand Complications. Since 2016, it has been available in two rose gold versions, one with a silver-toned opaline dial and a chocolate brown alligator strap (5204R-001), and the other with an opaline ebony black dial and a rose gold "Goutte" style bracelet (5204/1R). Patek Philippe now offers a new variation on the rose gold case, which combines the precious metal with a slate grey dial and strap. Through the sapphire crystal porthole case back, one can observe the hand-wound CHR 29-535 PS Q calibre, first introduced in 2012 on Ref. 5204P-001. The watch is delivered with an interchangeable sapphire glass back and a solid back. The second novelty concerns Ref. 5905, presented in platinum in 2015, then in rose gold in 2019, and combining a self-winding flyback chronograph and annual calendar. The company reinterprets this model by presenting a first version in steel - an unusual metal for Patek Philippe's complicated models - with an integrated bracelet with three rows of links. The dial is in the new olive green soleil colour. The calibre CH 28-520 QA 24H, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, employs a column wheel for switching the chrono functions, with a vertical disc coupling. The integrated steel bracelet, while inspired by that of the Aquanaut Ref. 5167/1A with contrasting finishes, differs from it in the polished finish underneath and on the sides. Finally, Patek Philippe is launching a new variant of the Ref. 5930, which combines two functions, the flyback chronograph and the universal time, an emblematic complication in the history of the House. This model was presented in 2016 in a white gold version with a blue dial and strap. Patek reinterprets this timepiece in a new version, which combines the lustre of platinum with a new dial and a green strap. The names of the cities are also in green, as is the central area of the dial, with hand-guilloché circular decoration. The same colour is echoed at 6 o'clock on the blued 30-minute counter. The hand-polished platinum case, with its "winged" lugs characteristic of the universal time watches of the 1940s and 1950s, has a diamond set at 6 o'clock. The CH 28-520 HU calibre, a mechanical utomatic, is equipped with a column wheel and vertical disc coupling. The new Ref. 5930P-001 is combined with a shiny bottle-green alligator strap with a platinum folding clasp.
