The Chinese New Year, marked by the Zodiac, begins on 28 January 2017 and is under the sign of the Rooster. From this, Perrelet has taken the cue for the new 'Turbine Rooster', with the iconic turbine whose 12 anodised aluminium blades are decorated with the 12 symbols of the Chinese horoscope. The same are engraved - tone on tone - both in figure and Chinese characters. The star of 2017, the Rooster, is highlighted by the bright red colour on the blade at 6 o'clock. The rotation of the turbine reveals a red sub-dial embellished with the Rooster symbol in Chinese characters and made of 5N red gold PVD with a black printed profile. The case is in black PVD-treated steel (44 mm in diameter). The beating heart is the IWC-manufactured P-331 automatic calibre with 42 hours of power reserve. This is a limited edition of 100 pieces.
