Perrelet presents the Turbine GMT, a perfect model for those who love to travel, equipped with the practical and useful second time zone reading function. All functions, i.e. hours, minutes, seconds and GMT function, are adjusted via the crown at 3 o'clock, making it easy to set the watch. The GMT display, which is indicated by the hand with a triangular red tip, is set via the crown in the second position. A watch with a sporty and contemporary character that uses steel, also in a version with black PVD treatment, for its generous 44 mm diameter case. Visible beneath the sapphire crystal is the famous 10-blade dial, the distinctive code of Perrelet's Turbine collections. An original 3D effect gives the impression of diving into the heart of the dial where the blue or black anodised aluminium "turbine" (propeller), which rotates following the movement of the wrist, reveals a sub-dial finely decorated in côtes de Genève, engraved with the globe. An additional sapphire crystal serves as a dial for displaying the local time, on which the quarter Arabic numerals and luminescent hour markers are applied, thus making the indications easy to read. The two-tone ring, peripheral to the dial, displays the 24-hour second time zone. The watch is equipped with the IWC-manufactured P-401 calibre, self-winding, with 42 hours of power reserve and can be seen through the transparent case back. The Turbine GMT is available in two variants, black or blue, and can be combined with a rubber or alligator strap in the same shade as the dial.
