Romain Jerome - Skylab 48 Speed Metal Skull

Among the novelties for Baseslworld 2016, Romain Jerome presents the Skylab 48 Speed Metal Skull. Through the large central skull, the dial of this version of the Skylab reveals its skeletonised mechanism. It is Romain Jerome's first skeleton movement with horizontal and vertical bridges: the manual RJ004-M calibre. The movement is composed of three layers formed by the mainplate, the bridges and the application of the skull, which reveals the barrel at 12 o'clock, the balance at 6 o'clock and the time train at 9 o'clock. The applied skull is made of anodised aluminium, with the exception of the polished silver application. The anodising process safeguards the colours of the aluminium, making it highly resistant to corrosion to keep the colours brilliant. The collection consists of 12 versions in different colours, each limited to 9 pieces. The case is in steel with a PVD-treated bezel. Price: 20,950 euros.
