Sotheby's - The Rolex Submariner worn by James Bond goes up for auction

At the end of April, in the exclusive White Space of the Relais San Maurizio in Santo Stefano Belbo, in the Langhe region, there was a preview presentation of vintage jewellery and watches, selected for Sotheby's auctions in Geneva on 15 and 17 May. Among the timepieces put up for auction is the steel Rolex Submariner, worn by James Bond and dated circa 1958. Also in the catalogue of the crowned company's watches present on this occasion is the rare Daytona "Paul Newman" chronograph in steel, produced circa 1967; signed Patek Philippe is instead a model in pink gold dating circa 1952. Reserved for a few important collectors invited by Sotheby's, hotel guests and friends of the Relais, the evening presentation of the auctioned precious collections was attended by top experts from the renowned auction house.
