The Breitling Experience - Solidarity on the green

As a partner of the Fondazione Vialli e Mauro Onlus, the Swiss watchmaker Breitling is pleased to promote the ninth edition of the Pro Am Vialli e Mauro Golf Cup charity tournament, organised in support of scientific research into cancer and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, ALS. As per tradition, the competition will see teams composed of a golf professional from the European Tour, a VIP, including show business personalities and footballers, and two novices representing the business world compete. Hosting the event will be one of the most prestigious clubs on the Italian golfing scene: the Royal Park I Roveri, immersed in the Mandria Regional Park, a few kilometres from Turin. There are two objectives of the ninth edition of the Pro Am Vialli e Mauro Golf Cup. The first is the purchase of an innovative research tool: Ion Torrent (Life Technologies), which will be used in the Unified Regional Reference Centre for Genetics at the Citadel (OIRM-S.Anna Molinette, Turin). The second objective, which follows on from last year's project, concerns the support that the Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro onlus is providing to the IRCC, Istituto per la Ricerca e la Cura del Cancro di Candiolo, an oncological pole capable of ensuring patients the complete cycle of diagnostic and therapeutic treatment. At the end of the day, Breitling will entertain all participants with a fun game, offering prizes in perfect Breitling style to the top three finishers. In particular, the winner will receive a Montbrillant 47 chronograph as a prize and a day of flying activities at Buochs, a private airport in the heart of Switzerland, where they will be able to try their hand at unique flying experiences, from vintage planes to parachute jumps.
