Tudor green gold

The new version of the famous Black Bay Fifty-Eight sports an 18-carat yellow case with a satin finish and an open back with a sapphire crystal porthole: two features that are absolutely new for a Tudor diver's watch. The combination with the warm green-gold hue of the dial and bezel, echoed on one of the two straps supplied, the one in green jacquard fabric with a gold band (the other is in green alligator leather, cambered and matching the dial), is decidedly eye-catching. Guaranteed water-resistant to 200 metres, the watch is animated by the MT5400 manufacture movement, self-winding, which features the finish typical of all Tudor calibres made in-house: its one-piece tungsten rotor is exposed and satin-finished with sandblasted details, while the bridges and the plate have sandblasted and polished surfaces and laser decoration. Both the structure and the variable-inertia balance have been designed to guarantee solidity, reliability, durability and precision. Thanks to these features and the antimagnetic silicon balance spring, this movement has been awarded Cosc certification and its performance exceeds the standards defined by this independent body: it is in fact set to even stricter parameters than the chronometric standards, which lead it to record an average deviation of between -2 and +4 seconds per day (against the -4/+6 of the Cosc). Another outstanding feature of the movement is its autonomy, which goes up to around 70 hours. Price: 16,010 euros.
