Victorinox Swiss Army, as the official supplier to the Swiss Army, makes watches with an often above-average robustness and reliability, as in the case of the Dive Master 500, especially if we relate these technical qualities to the price of the watch itself. The steel case with a diameter of 43 millimetres has undergone a 'black ice' treatment, exclusive to the Swiss watchmaker, which gives the metal itself a very special colouring. Several versions are available, with quartz movement (manufactured by Ronda, hence Swiss Made) or mechanical self-winding, and cases are also available in 38 millimetres. The dial is available in different colour tones, and offers the additional indication of the date window at 3 o'clock. On some versions, the minute hand is replaced by an orange arrow hand (as in one of the two versions published here), underlining its fundamental importance during diving. The bezel is unidirectional rotating, water resistance guaranteed to a depth of 500 metres, and the strap is made of 'soft touch' rubber.
