Mühle Glashütte - Marinus Chronograph Fulda Challenge

One of the latest innovations from Mühle Glashütte is a special version of the Marinus Chronograph. The case, in steel with black DLC treatment, houses a self-winding mechanical movement, MU 9408 calibre (48-hour power reserve, three-quarter plate). A domed sapphire crystal, anti-reflective and thick (around 2.5 millimetres), protects the large black dial with white counters for the chronograph minutes at 3 o'clock and continuous seconds at 9 o'clock, while at 6 o'clock is the date window. The bezel is unidirectional rotating and red with black numbering. Guaranteed water-resistant to 30 atmospheres, the Marinus Chronograph is available with either a rubber strap or a steel bracelet with an extension and safety clasp. The watch was created to celebrate the company's collaboration, as Official Timekeeper, with the Fulda Challenge, an event that takes place every year in Canada, in the Arctic region of Yukan to be precise. It comprises ten different events, including a dog sled race and a half-marathon that is rather "rigid", given that temperatures in these areas are around -40°C.
