The brand Romain Jerome announced the appointment of the new CEO: Manuel Emch (son of Arlette Emch, member of the Executive Group Management Board of Swatch Group). Born in 1972, Manuel Emch began his career as a consultant in business process re-engineering and as marketing manager in FMCG, before joining the Swatch Group in 2001, where he was responsible for the relaunch and repositioning of the Jaquet Droz brand. At Swatch Gruop, he was also a member of the Executive Board, with responsibility for certain markets such as Russia and other Eastern European countries, as well as Central Asia.

Romain Jerome's board of directors expressed great satisfaction with this choice, as they could count on a man with great structural organisational and brand-building skills. Emch will be supported by the existing team and the new sales director Giancarlo Mauritano, former distribution director at Zino Davidoff.

Manuel Emch expressed his intention to continue a strategy based on legends, exploring this concept in new directions.
