A diver of professional rank, the Plongeur 48 mm Titanium is equipped with a valve for the automatic escape of helium gas, as can be seen by the word Helium Valve just below the day/date window at 3 o'clock. Other features that refer to use of the watch underwater are the presence of a unidirectional rotating bezel with sexagesimal scale and a degree of water resistance to 30 atmospheres. The titanium case, with a generous diameter of 48 millimetres, houses a self-winding mechanical movement, calibre PP 1600, based on the ETA-Valjoux 7750. The strap is in black rubber.
