For the second year running, Baume & Mercier sponsored the 11th edition of the 'Salento Finibus Terrae' International Short Film Festival, which took place from 20 to 28 July in the province of Brindisi. The Festival celebrated - in the locations of San Vito dei Normanni, Savelletri, Torre Canne, Selva di Fasano and Borgo Egnazia - the new talents of Italian and international cinema, and has always welcomed all authors, directors and actors who try their hand at the craft of filmmaking with skill, passion and courage. A total of seventy short films from all over the world will be screened open air.
The last evening of the Festival was celebrated with a grand invitational event, with the screening of the feature film 'Viaggio sola', in the presence of the director, Maria Sole Tognazzi and the leading actress Margherita Buy. Baume & Mercier awarded Clifton and Linea watches to some of the Festival guests: Alessandro Gassman, Margherita Buy, Maria Sole Tognazzi, Alessio Boni.
