SIHH 2010 again: Piaget

Piaget calibro 1208P
Piaget calibre 1208P

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the introduction in 1960 of the legendary 12P calibre (at that time the world's flattest automatic calibre) the Piaget presents the new 1208P movement (27 jewels, 21,600 A/h, approximately 40-hour power reserve), which at 2.35 mm thick is the flattest automatic calibre currently on the market. For its debut, the 1208P calibre will animate one of Piaget's model classics, the Altiplano, in this case with an 18-carat white gold case 43 millimetres in diameter. The silver-toned dial features baton hands, baton hour markers and a small seconds display between 4 and 5 o'clock. The crystal and case back are made of sapphire crystal, while the strap, with a pin buckle, is black alligator. This Altiplano with a 43 mm case is available with a white gold case, as in the photo, or with a rose gold case, combined with a brown alligator strap.
