Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques
Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques

Always specialising in the manufacture of ultra-flat watches, the Vacheron Constantin has decided to revive some of its creations, which experienced their heyday in the 1950s and 1960s. Thus, the Les Historiques collection includes two new models, the Ultra-Platter 1955 and the Ultra-Platter 1968. The first mentioned houses the world's thinnest movement (it is only 1.64 mm thick), namely the VC 1003 calibre, with 18-carat gold bridges and plate for SIHH 2010, on the occasion of its 55th anniversary. The case is 36 millimetres in diameter in 18-carat gold, as is the opaline dial. The Ultra-Flat 1968, on the other hand, has a shaped case and uses the 2.45 mm thick VC 1120 calibre. It has a square pink gold case (35.2 mm on a side) and a black alligator strap. Both movements are hallmarked with the Geneva Seal.
