Coming from a major American company, Texas Instrument, famous for the development, production and sale of particularly sophisticated electronic devices, is the eZ430-Chronos. It is a highly integrated wireless development system based on the CC430 circuit, which can be used in sports watches, for example. It can be used as a reference platform for time measurement systems, but also as a personal display for local networks or as a wireless node for remote data collection. What are we talking about? The classic watch with functions such as a pressure meter, temperature meter, pulse meter, etc., can now become a display containing a pressure sensor and a 3-axis accelerometer to detect steps and heartbeat, as well as a temperature sensor and one for battery voltage, which can be combined with a USB wireless system to transfer data to the computer.
The eZ430-Chronos can be reprogrammed with a customised application.
