On the occasion of its 120th anniversary Eberhard & Co At the beginning of the year, it launched the '120 Years in 120 Seconds' competition to reward the talent of up-and-coming young directors. On 21 November, the jury, made up of prominent names from the world of cinema, including director of photography Dante Cecchin and director Renzo Martinelli, met in the Pirelli hall of the eponymous skyscraper in Milan and, from the fifteen short film finalists, awarded Marcos Villasenor of the Milan IED in the "Future Directors" category, with the short film entitled "Public Telephone". First prize in the "Independent Directors" category, on the other hand, went to Davide Maldi, with the short film entitled "Pasprefut". The two winners receive a workshop at the "New York Film Academy" as a prize, as well as the opportunity for the "future director" to do an internship at the Alto Verbano production company, which is collaborating with Eberhard & Co. on this project.
