At the next edition of the America's Cup (which, it is now official, will still be held in Valencia in 2009) we will once again be able to cheer on the first African boat in the history of the competition: Team Shosholoza, which already participated last year under the flag of the Republic of South Africa. Especially since the captain Salvatore Sarno is Italian, originally from Nocera Inferiore, and more than half of the team is made up of Italians.
In addition, the time will be marked by our own brand Breil Milan (of the Binda Group), which becomes its Team Sponsor, Official Timekeeper and Official Supplier. In this capacity, the Breil Milano logo will be visible on Shosholoza's boom, dinghies, support boats and land structures available to the team. Breil Milano will also supply Team Shosholoza with new lines of watches, jewellery and sunglasses technologically designed to achieve the best performance in regattas.
