The Watch 227, available on newsstands and in the Apple Store

This month's cover story is dedicated to the 1815 Tourbillon by A. Lange & Söhne, a watch that combines the Zero-Reset mechanism and the seconds stop system invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet, allowing the seconds to be stopped exactly at zero and easily adjusted. The mechanical aspect is explored in the usual 'Technical Examples' section.

Two invitations are addressed to the readers of L'Orologio from the pages of this issue: one is that of the Maison Roger Dubuis, which in July will open the doors of its manufacture to six lucky participants; the other is that of Montblanc, which in June will offer the possibility of viewing the collections presented at the Sihh in real life, at its boutiques in Florence, Milan and Turin, in advance of their launch in shops.

One of the articles is dedicated to Piaget and the ultra-flat movements: a long-standing tradition and savoir-faire that make this type a true speciality for the brand, winning a number of important firsts over the years.

Let's go together to discover some of the new products on display at BaselWorld 2014, in anticipation of the extensive report in the June issue of the magazine.

And more... Many other columns and articles to satisfy the curiosity of all watchmaking enthusiasts.
