François-Paul Journe, a member of the Academy of Independent Makers (AHCI) since 1987, supports the 'Young Talent Competition' and for the first time this year will award each of the selected young talents on Thursday 19 March at BaselWorld.
The winners of the 2015 'Young Talent Competition' will receive a donation enabling them to acquire watchmaking tools and will have the privilege of presenting their creations on the AHCI stand together with members of the Academy.
They will also have the opportunity to participate in the various watch fairs in which the AHCI participates. The competition is open to 47 international watchmaking schools from 14 different countries.
