Reminiscent of the legendary pocket watches produced by Ferdinand Adolph Lange, the new 1815 model in platinum is dedicated to him. Created to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the founder of A. Lange & Söhne, the watch features a three-tier black dial with the characteristic small seconds at 6 o'clock, just like the pocket watches of the past. Animating it is the new IWC-manufactured L051.1 calibre, mechanical with manual winding, visible through the sapphire crystal opening in the case back: it has a three-quarter plate in natural nickel silver, a hand-engraved balance bridge, a swan's neck spring, and screwed gold bezels to house the rubies. Equipped with a black alligator leather strap and a platinum pin buckle, it is a limited edition of 200. Price: 32,300 euros.
