Liu Jo Luxury Award

On Monday 27 April, the presentation of the degree award on accessible luxury took place at the Quirinale. The Liu Jo Luxury Prize, now in its first edition, is an important acknowledgement of the research of young scholars who, taking into account the changing fashion market, delve into consumption styles and customer needs of accessible luxury. The aim is to identify the communication and marketing levers that enable companies to remain competitive on the market and meet consumer demand in the sector. Liu Jo Luxury, a brand born in 2006 from the partnership between the Liu Jo clothing company and Nardelli Luxury, a national player in the jewellery sector, has chosen this year to join the Premi di Laurea (Degree Awards) initiative, promoted by the Leonardo Committee and aimed at rewarding young graduates who have developed theses on topics relevant to the success of Made in Italy. President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, Leonardo Committee President Laura Todini, Deputy Minister for Economic Development Carlo Calenda and Liu Jo Luxury CEO and Creative Director Bruno Nardelli presented the award. The students who decided to take part in the call for entries were also able to refer to the annual studies carried out by Assorologi, the Italian Association of Watch Manufacturers and Distributors, headed by Mario Peserico, of which Bruno Nardelli himself is a member.
