Swiss Pavilion

Expo 2010 Shanghai, the exhibition with the theme of urban quality of life, will open on 1 May. The Swatch will be present with its own pavilion ready to welcome visitors from all over the world: its architecture has already aroused much interest and garnered positive feedback for the presence of a chairlift that will take guests up to the large garden on the roof, far from the crowds. To celebrate the Swiss Pavilion, the House has created Swiss Pavilion, a watch whose colours are reminiscent of those typical of Switzerland, white and red: the new Swatch Jelly in Jelly is offered, in fact, with a red silicone strap that features red crosses in relief, arches composed of small white crosses, also in relief, and micro-injections that give life to other white crosses. The Swatch Snowpass logo appears at the 6 o'clock end of the strap, while the red lettering on a white background is on the first silicon loop. The second is a tribute to the Swiss Pavilion. The case, made of white plastic, houses a red dial with a white Swiss cross in the centre. Marking off the time are white hour and minute hands and a slimmer red seconds hand. From March 2010, the watch will be on sale at all Swatch Stores and authorised retailers at a price of 60 euros. For information: Swatch Group Italy, tel. 02/575971.
