Hamilton's digital age

Pulsomatic
Pulsomatic

Pulsar, the world's first LED-digital watch made by Hamilton, began measuring time on 6 May 1970. Today, forty years later, the Swiss watchmaker is launching the Pulsomatic, an ever-digital timepiece with a futuristic design. The steel case, whose appearance is reminiscent of a space-age television screen, houses an automatic H1970-calibre movement that guarantees a 120-day power reserve when fully wound. The elegant black dial, equipped with a liquid crystal display, underlines its hi-tech dimension. Waterproof to a pressure of 5 atmospheres, it will be on sale from next October at a price of 945 euros. For information: Swatch Group Italy, tel. 02/575971.
