The new Longines Conquest

Il nuovo Longines Conquest

It suits those who are looking for a watch that is both elegant and sporty at the same time: we are talking about the Conquest, one of the new Longines will be presented at the 2008 edition of the Basel Salon. It is a timepiece with a steel case and ceramic bezel and cabochon, a material the latter of which, besides remaining beautiful over time, is unscratchable and resistant to friction, abrasion and high temperatures. It also encompasses all the features of a sports watch: water-resistance to 30 atmospheres, a screw-down crown and back, lateral crown protection, and a folding clasp with triple safety catch. The movement used is the calibre L633 (ETA-Valjoux 2824/2), mechanical with automatic winding, 28,800 vibrations per hour and 38-hour power reserve. The watch is also available in a version with a quartz movement.
