Countdown to a Cure is the name of the watch made by Harry Winston to mark its second year of partnership with amfAR. 20% of the proceeds from the sale of this timepiece, available exclusively in Harry Winston Salons around the world, will benefit one of the most important non-profit organisations working in AIDS research. In particular, the proceeds raised will be used to fund the design of a scientific basis for the development of a cure for HIV by 2020. The watch is available in two versions, of twenty pieces each: a men's version, with a 42 millimetre white gold case and a navy blue dial with a multicoloured flange, which echoes the nuances of the amfAR Countdown to a Cure campaign; a ladies' model, enriched with brilliant-cut diamonds and precious gems.
