Picking up on the style of one of his iconic models made in the 1990s, Calypso, Maurice Lacroix is presenting the Aikon (the name takes up the pronunciation of the word 'icon') at Baselworld 2016. The collection comprises three models, all with quartz movement: Aikon Ladies 35mm, Aikon Gents 42mm and Aikon Chronograph 44mm. All feature a case with a bezel with six knights.
The Aikon Ladies 35mm is made of steel with three dials available: silver, black or mother-of-pearl. The mother-of-pearl dial is embellished with diamond-set hour markers. There is a choice of a steel and 2N gold bracelet or a calfskin strap.
Aikon Gents 42mm is available with a galvanised silver or galvanised black dial. Here too, the option is between a calfskin strap, offered in a wide range of colours, or a steel bracelet.
The Aikon Chronograph 44mm is available with a silver, black or blue dial.
