"We have shown the Green Sisces to the whole world!": with this exclamation ended the Rome - Rio de Janeiro flight, completed in January 1938 by the crews of the 12th Wing, forming the Green Sisces squadron, led by Colonel Attilio Biseo. The connection took place in 39.17 hours with 24.20 hours of actual flight time over a distance of approximately 10,000 kilometres. To this important feat TerraCieloMare wanted to dedicate a special limited series: the Mancino Notturno. The arrival in Rio de Janeiro, in fact, took place in the dark at night and only the Three Green Rays stood out on the nacelles of the S 79. Hence the reason for a 47-millimetre diameter case that is completely PVD-processed, with a black dial, Arabic hour markers and black SuperLuminova-treated hands. The PVD steel caseback is acid-etched with the silhouette of the aircraft that enabled the 12th Wing to make this journey. The watch is powered by a hand-wound ETA 6497 calibre mechanical movement and is water-resistant to 5 atmospheres. In a limited numbered series of 300, it is on sale at a price of €1,000.
