For the fifth consecutive year, A. Lange & Söhne is a sponsor of the Concorso d'Eleganza taking place in the splendid setting of Villa d'Este in Como. From 20 to 22 May, vintage cars, each with a memorable history, will compete for the favour of the jury in eight different categories. In keeping with tradition, the winner of the 'Best of Show' category will be rewarded with a unique Lange 1 Time Zone 'Como Edition', which will be personally presented to him or her on the final day by Wilhelm Schmid, the company's CEO. The watch, with its large asymmetrical dial, pays tribute to the competition: the central European time on the hour disc is in fact represented by the city of Como. The hand-engraved back of the special edition in white gold, on the other hand, bears the competition's coat of arms.
