Ready for take-off with the new Chronoliner from Breitling

After the steel model and the limited red gold series, Breitling is now offering an all-black version of its Chronoliner. The case, crafted in steel and guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres, is fitted with a high-resistance carbon-based coating and associated with a tone-on-tone hi-tech ceramic bezel. The black colouring extends to the dial and to the unprecedented rubber strap that echoes the relief of the braided steel bracelets. The indications in white/silver stand out sharply against the black background, in keeping with the great tradition of aviator watches. Readability is enhanced by the oversized hands and hourmarkers coated with luminescent material. The caseback bears the stylised profile of the planes that have long been Breitling's trademark. The Chronoliner combines the two functions most useful to pilots and globe-trotters: a chronograph for measuring flight times and a triple time-zone display. The movement used is the Breitling Calibre 24, chronometer-certified by the Cosc.
