A very important gesture made by the HublotIt has decided to sponsor the forthcoming 2008 European Football Championship by renouncing its visibility in the stadiums. More precisely, the well-known watchmaker will quietly support the sporting event in favour of a foundation that fights racism, with the message 'No to racism' appearing in clear letters in the corners of the stadiums in Switzerland and Austria. The aim is to usher in a new era of sponsorship linked to communication and education on issues it considers fundamental. Today, on the occasion of the Basel Show and in the context of the 2008 European Championship, the Maison is presenting the new Big Bang dedicated to the tournament and equipped with a chronograph movement with a 45-minute counter, mechanical, designed to record the times of football matches as well as the 15 minutes of extra time. In a limited series of 2008 pieces, the watch is made of black ceramic and rubber and features a strap with a red stripe bearing the words UEFA EURO 2008TM, while the Championship trophy is reproduced on the back. Another version of the Big Bang Euro 2008 is available in pink gold and black ceramic, in a limited series of 250 pieces.
