Perrelet presented a preview of the Lab model to the first SC Bern hockey team. This historic club, founded on 1 January 1931, has won the Swiss championship 14 times, attracting more than half a million spectators per season, and has been awarded as the first ice hockey team in Europe.
The Lab watch, which was presented - in prototype form - at Baseworld 2016, inaugurates Perrelet's new sport-chic collection, staying true to the brand's DNA, whose hallmark is the 'moving' dial. The coussin case is in steel, the bezel is octagonal. Particular attention has been paid to the architecture of the dial, which reveals an unprecedented animation. Conceived on several levels, thanks also to different decorations, it offers a three-dimensional effect to the eye. The hour markers have been applied to a sapphire crystal ring and seem to float in the air, showing the peripheral oscillating mass.
