On 17 March, the Ordinary Elective Assembly of Assorologi proceeded with the renewal of the management positions for the four-year period 2017 - 2020. The new Board of Directors then proceeded, on 5 April, to appoint the President and Vice-Presidents. Confirmed in the role of President is Mario Peserico, CEO Eberhard Italia. The Vice Presidents are Elena Rusinenti, Marketing Director Rolex Italia (in the role of Deputy Vice President), and Roberto Beccari, Managing Director LVMH Watch & Jewelry Italia. The board members are: Patrizia Aste, Breitling Italia; Simone Binda, Binda Italia; Marcello Borsetti, Citizen Watch Italy; Marco Carraro, Morellato Sector; Stefano Corrado, Richemont Italia; Francesca Ginocchio, The Swatch Group (Italy); Bruno Nardelli, Liu Jo; Stefano Superchi, Tempo Prezioso 2002.
The Board of Directors focused on some areas of action for the coming months: improving the study of the Italian watchmaking market, developing training for technicians and enthusiasts, paying special attention to communication and synergies with the world of consumers, monitoring institutional and international relations, and new initiatives in the fight against counterfeiting. "These are topical and strategic issues," says President Peserico, "that require commitment and dedication and on which the new Board has shown particular attention. Assorologi intends to once again reaffirm its role as a point of reference for the Italian watchmaking market and will not fail to monitor the main economic and regulatory issues, consumption trends and socio-cultural phenomena with the greatest impact on our sector".
