Dedicated to James Bond

2017 marks three anniversaries for the James Bond franchise: the 50th anniversary of 'You Only Live Twice'; the 40th anniversary of 'The Spy Who Loved Me' and the 20th anniversary of 'Tomorrow Never Dies'. In each of these films James Bond wears his trademark uniform. Yesterday, Omega, at a special event at the Tate Modern in London, unveiled a new watch to celebrate Agent 007's rank and regal insignia, inspired by red, white and blue, the colours of the Royal Navy as well as the coat of arms of the rank of Commander. It is a limited edition in steel with a Nato strap of 7,007 pieces, powered by the calibre 2507. It is offered with a 3-year warranty and presented with a special packaging inspired by military medal cases. The packaging also includes a steel bracelet, the tool for changing it and a naval pin that echoes the design of the Nato strap.
The 'Commander's Watch' will also be available in a yellow gold version, in a limited series of only seven.
During the course of the year, three models of the Seamaster Diver will be sold at a special auction
300M 'Commander's Watch', the proceeds of which will go to charity.
