Hublot in Porto Cervo

The second, after the one in Capri in April, always in a prestigious tourist destination. A splendid boutique with maritime codes, with materials and colours reminiscent of the beaches of the Costa Smeralda. Located under the characteristic arcades of Via La Passeggiata, a stone's throw from the famous Piazzetta, from which one can admire the port and its panorama. These are the distinctive elements of the new Hublot showcase on the Costa Smeralda, inaugurated on 3 July last, in the presence of Hublot "Friend of the Brand" David Trezeguet. To celebrate the summer, a new watch in the colours of the Mediterranean, mirroring the sky and the sea. Cut in blue ceramic, the Big Bang Blue comes in a "beach" version with a blue and white natural rubber strap and an "after beach" version with a blue alligator strap. Under the blue skeleton dial, the UNICO manufacture movement and its self-winding column-wheel flyback chronograph manage the time in total autonomy for three days. The Big Bang Blue is made in 100 pieces available initially only in the brand's summer boutiques - i.e. Cannes, St. Tropez, Porto Cervo, Capri, Mykonos - and then in all Hublot boutiques worldwide. Present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, in addition to David Trezeguet, were Hublot Marketing Director Philippe Tardivel and Regional Director for the Mediterranean countries Augusto Capitanucci. Also in Porto Cervo this summer, Hublot is celebrating its passion for art with a new, prestigious partnership. Hublot is indeed the Official Sponsor of the exhibition 'Andy Warhol VIP Society'held at the Porto Cervo Conference Centre from 10 June to 17 September 2017. An event of international relevance, an attraction for the Emerald Summer, where one can admire about 200 masterpieces by the artist, from the most prestigious private collections. On display are true icons of the master of pop art: from silkscreen prints of Marilyn, to the famous Campbell's cans, from portraits of drag queens Ladies and Gentlemen to polaroids of celebrities such as Ron Wood, Silvester Stallone, Grace Jones, passing through the sought-after self portraits and the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen. An itinerary that allows one to relive, through Warhol's paintings that 'VIP Society' that animated New York life in the 1970s, an environment of eccentricity and worldliness, frequented by film stars, artists, musicians and entrepreneurs. The exhibition is organised by the Mazzoleni Foundation, an organisation that promotes prestigious cultural events, and the E.F. Arte Gallery in Milan founded by Eugenio Falcioni, a great collector of Andy Warhol.
