Technology in the foreground in the J12 Rétrograde Mystérieuse, which Chanel made in collaboration with Renaud & Papi. The winding crown is set inside the dial and can be activated by pressure. Its position, however, covers the section of the dial that refers to the minutes from 11 to 19. Therefore, the special manual calibre that drives this timepiece allows the minute hand to make a retrograde movement during that time interval, lasting ten minutes, and positioning itself on the 4 o'clock index. The minutes from 11 to 19 are thus indicated in a window at 6 o'clock, while at 12 o'clock is the power reserve indicator and at 9 o'clock the tourbillon cage. This technically sophisticated timepiece, celebrating 10 years of the J12, features a hi-tech black ceramic and white gold case and bracelet. Price: 210,000 euros.
