The CSIO (Official International Equestrian Competition) of Piazza di Siena in Rome concluded last weekend. Longines was once again a partner as sponsor and official timekeeper of the event. During the latter, the watch manufacturer presented its new line of Admiral watches, part of the Sport Collection, to an excellent response from the public. The rider and the horsewoman who distinguished themselves for the best performance during the Roman competition were Irishman Dennis Lynch and American Nicole Shahinian-Simpson, first in the intermediate ranking of the Longines Press Award for Elegance that will be awarded during the CSIO in Barcelona on 19 September 2008. The winners will be presented with a set of two Longines watches and a cheque for 20,000 Swiss francs.
